Market Report (albeit a delayed one)

It has been quite a while since our last post and we express our sincere apologies; however, this summer has been BUSY!  The momentum has picked up at the store and new design jobs are coming in daily.  We couldn't be happier, but it's taking away from our blogging duties.  Quick Facebook posts have been about all we have had time for. We had a great trip to Atlanta for the summer market, visiting with old industry friends, viewing our favorite lines and picking up some fab new ones.  COLOR was everywhere.  Oomph is one of the hottest new lines out there and it will be arriving in our store soon.  Below is a sneak preview of some of their very fun and vibrant pieces.

Oomph is made domestically and completely customizable.  You have a choice of over 15 color options and a variety of top surfaces including skins and raffia. 

We are also excited about the framed intaglios we found.  They will be the perfect subtle compliment to all of this color. 

These poured Grecian-style intaglios are custom framed in either antique gold or silver.  Hung as a grouping, they make a sophisticated statement in any interior space.

Jewelry has quickly become one of our hottest selling categories and we are slowly getting our feet wet with the baby category as well.  We stumbled upon the most brilliant line that bridges these together - Chewbeads.  Created by a fashion industry veteran, these colorful beaded necklaces and bracelets not only look great but have the added bonus of being safe for babies to tug and chew on. 

Made of 100% silicone, these "jewels" are soft on babies gums and emerging teeth.  They are free of BPA, Phthalates, PVC, Cadmium, Lead or Metal, and have a breakaway clasp for added safety.  To top it off, they are dishwasher safe.  Now, why didn't we think of this clever idea?  We're just glad someone did!
