Memorial Day Fun

We can't believe that Memorial Day is here.  It's one of our favorites weekends of the year because it's the official kick off to Summer.  In our opinion June, July & August are the best months for entertaining - color abounds and you have the added bonus of indoor/outdoor spaces to utilize.  Here are some ideas to help make your summertime fete super stylish and fun.

Add bold pops of color to your table with French Bull melamine serving pieces.  They are the perfect accouterments this time of year.

Melamine dishes are the way to go, especially when entertaining outdoors.  Also perfect for everyday use if you have little ones around the house because they are dishwasher safe and unbreakable.

Serve libations in polycarb bistro drink ware.  If a guest has one too many no worries, they can't be broken!

Cotton napkins on a roll make your job as hostess so easy.  Guests can just tear off their own square.

Happy Summer everyone!  May it be your best one yet!

Stylish Living...for a Nursery

A new addition to the adelé family will be here in October, so we were thrilled when we learned that Lulu deKwiatkowski, founder and designer of LULU DK Fabrics, has collaborated with Schumacher on a joyful and sophisticated collection of children’s fabrics.  The combination of bold colors and playful prints is exactly what we had in mind for a stylish nursery.

How perfect are these colors in "Parade?"

From left to right: "Jelly Bean" in Punch, "Twix Tape" in Pink Lemonade/Punch & "Jelly Bean" in Punch.

From left to right: "Lollipop" in Turquoise/Leaf, "sailboat" in Sky, "Twix Tape" in Turquoise/Leaf & "Jungle Jubilee" in Leaf.

"Macaroni" in Turquoise/Leaf

What we love about this collection is that it's whimsical enough for a child's room, but not too cutesy.  It can be used in a room that will grow with the child and combined with clean lined furniture to create a modern, yet cozy environment.  Stay tuned on how our designer Meghann will turn this into a reality for Baby Reilly!
